How to Auto Hide Taskbar in Windows 10

By default, in Windows 10, Taskbar is always visible at the bottom of the screen.

If you wish, you can auto hide Taskbar. In this post, we will see the steps to do this task. Let's look at the steps.

Auto Hide Taskbar in Windows 10

  • angle-right
Open "Taskbar Settings" (you can do that by right-clicking on an empty area of Taskbar and then selecting "Taskbar settings").
  • angle-right
Find and click the toggle underneath "Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode."
  • angle-right
If you wish to auto hide taskbar in Tablet mode, then click the toggle underneath "Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode."

That is all. Now, you can see that the Taskbar is hidden from the view.

When you need Taskbar, you can bring it back to view by moving the cursor pointer towards the bottom of the screen (if that is your Taskbar position) or by pressing Windows key + T.

After your work is done with the Taskbar, move the cursor from Taskbar, and it will automatically hide.

Keep in mind that the Taskbar may automatically popup itself when any one of the opened applications or Notification Area icons needs your attention.
