How to Find Android and iPhone Serial Number

In this post, we’ll see how to find the serial number in Android and iPhone.

In this instance, I’m using Motorola G7 running Android Pie and iPhone X (iOS 12.4.1). Let’s get started.

Android

Method #1

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap System > About phone > Model & hardware.
  3. Now, you can see the serial number of your device beneath “Serial number” in the popup.

Method #2

Requirements for following this method: your Android device should have USB debugging enabled, and your PC should have ADB drivers. If you have both, then you’re good to go.

Remember that this method applies to both the rooted and non-rooted devices.

Steps

  1. Connect PC and Android via USB cable. Tap “Ok” in the popup of your Android if you see any.
  2. Open the Command Prompt and change the path with the one that contains ADB drivers. Now, execute the following command: adb devices
  3. Now, you can see the X device in the output. The X is the serial number of your Android device.
