Here, we'll see two different ways to do this task. You can pick the one you prefer. Let's see what they are.

Method #1

Here are the steps to set the alarm in Android:

    Open App Drawer on your Android device (To open App Drawer, tap "Apps" icon or "Up arrow" on the home screen).

    Tap "Clock."

    Hit "Alarm" icon which is the first one from the left side of the screen.

    Tap "+" icon at the bottom. Now, set the alarm time and then tap "OK."

That is all. The alarm is successfully set.

Edit an Alarm in Android

Tap the "Down" arrow in the alarm you want to edit. Now, you can see the following options:

  • Tap the alarm time to change it.
  • Tap "Repeat" to set repeat frequency of the alarm.
  • Tap the current alarm sound to change it.
  • Uncheck "Vibrate" if you do not want your device gets vibrated when the alarm goes off.
  • Tap "Label," and it will open up "Label" popup. Provide the label as per your wish and then tap "OK."
  • Tap "Google Assistant Routine" to set up routine.

Keep in mind that you can turn off the alarm that you want by tapping its toggle.

Delete an Alarm in Android

To delete the alarm, tap the "Down" arrow in the alarm you preferred to delete and then tap "Delete" option.

Remember that you can't delete multiple alarms at once.

When the alarm goes off, you can see two options - Snooze and Dismiss. Pick the one you want.

If you want to change alarms settings, then do the following steps:

    Tap on Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top of the "Clock" app.

    Tap "Settings." Scroll down until you see "Alarms" section.

    All the options in this section are regarding the alarm. Customize them as per your need.

Method #2

Note: Use all the below commands after unlocking your device.

The following are the steps to set the alarm using Google Assistant:

Say "Okay Google" and then "Set alarm for hello on 7 am."

Replace the 7 am in the above command with the time you want. Remember that the "hello" in the earlier command is the label which you can replace it the word(s) you want.

Also, note that the label is optional and if you don't want one while setting the alarm, then you can use these commands:

Say "Okay Google" and then "Set alarm for 7 am."

If you want to set a recurring alarm, then use any of these commands:

Say "Okay Google" and then "Set alarm for 7 am every day" OR "Set alarm for 7 am on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday."

If you want to do the same using label, then try these commands:

Say "Okay Google" and then "Set alarm for good on 7 am every day" or "Set alarm for good on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday."

To Edit an Alarm

Say "Okay Google" and then "Edit an alarm."

It'll take you to "Alarm" section of the "Clock" app where you can see all alarms.

Tap the "Down" arrow in the alarm you prefer to edit, and you can see its options. Tap the option you want and modify it as per your wish.

To Delete an Alarm

If you wish to delete an alarm, Say "Okay Google" and then "cancel alarm."

Now, Google Assistant will show you all the alarms you've (active and inactive) and ask you to choose one. Tap the one you prefer, and it'll get canceled. In case, if you've only one, then it'll immediately cancel it.

In case, if you prefer to delete a specific alarm, then use the below commands:

Say "Okay Google" and then "Cancel label alarm."

In the above command, replace the "label" with the label of the alarm you preferred to delete. In case, if the alarm doesn't have a label, then you can use the following commands:

Say "Okay Google" and then "Cancel time alarm."

Replace time with the time of the alarm you preferred to delete.

In case, if there is more than one alarm (they may be active or inactive) with the same label (or time), then "Assistant" will list out both and ask you to choose the one you prefer.

Remember that you can't delete multiple alarms at once.

Here are some other things to note (Of course, you can say the below commands after saying "Okay Google"):

  • "View all alarms" command will show all your active alarms. But, in the meantime, "Assistant" will say all your alarms (both active and inactive).
  • "Stop" command will stop the alarm.
  • "Snooze" command will snooze the alarm for 10 minutes.

Here's how you can set the alarm in Windows 10:

    Click on the "Start" button. Find and click "Alarms & Clock."

    Click "+" icon at the bottom.

    Now, set the alarm time.

    Click on the current alarm name to provide a new one. Set the repeat frequency by clicking on the existing one under "Repeats."

    Set alarm sound by clicking on the existing one and set the "Snooze time" as per your wish by clicking on the current one.

    Click on "Save" icon at the bottom.

That's it. The alarm is successfully set.

Keep in mind that you can turn off an alarm at any time you want by clicking on its toggle.

The alarm will appear as a notification with the sound you chose at the time you specified.

You can dismiss the alarm using "Dismiss" option, OR you can snooze it using "Snooze" option. Before snoozing alarm, you can change snooze time (if you wish) by using the drop-down list under "Snooze for" in the notification.

Remember that even if the PC is locked, the alarm will appear.

Also, note that if the PC is in Sleep, then the alarm will not appear. When you wake up your PC from Sleep, then the alarm will appear.

To Edit an Alarm in Windows 10

Click on the one you want to edit. Do the changes you want and then click on the "Save" icon at the bottom.

To Delete an Alarm in Windows 10

You can delete individual one alone or multiple alarms at once and here's how you can do that:

To Delete an Individual Alarm: Right-click on the one you want to delete. Click on "Delete" option.

To Delete Multiple Alarms at Once: Click on the "Select alarms" icon which is beside the "+" icon at the bottom. Select the alarms you want to delete and then click on "Trash Can" icon at the bottom.
