How to Add Second Google Account to Android

You can add second Google account to your Android handset within two minutes, and this guide will help you with that.

The task is simple, and you can use the steps discussed in this post to add as many Google accounts as you want. Without further ado, let’s get started.

    Open App Drawer.

    Find and tap “Settings” app.

    Find and tap the following:

    Now, you can see your device’s security. It may be a pin, password, or pattern.

    Once you pass the security option, provide your email address and tap “Next.”

    Provide the password and tap “Next.” You may see two-step verification screen if you have enabled it on your account.

    Now, hit the “Accept” to accept the terms and conditions.

That’s it. Your second Google account is successfully added to your handset.

Alternate Way

You can add second Google account to your handset using other Google products such as Gmail app and YouTube app. In this instance, I am showing the steps to add Google account using Gmail app.

    Tap Hamburger icon (three vertical lines).

    Tap “+ Add account” option.

    Tap Google. Provide the pin, password or pattern depending on your device’s security setup.

    Accept the terms and conditions by tapping the “Accept” at the bottom.

Configure Sync Setting of Google Account

    Go to “Settings” app.

    Tap Accounts > Tap Google.

    You can see all your Google accounts now. Tap the Google account that you want to configure.

    Now, you can change the sync setting of the apps as per your wish.

Remove Google Account

    Go to “Settings” app.

    Tap Accounts > Google.

    Now, you can see all your Google accounts. Tap the account that you want to remove.

    Select “Remove account” option.

    Read the message in the confirmation popup because that is going to happen when you remove your Google account. If you are "OK" with that, tap “Remove Account” in the confirmation message.
