In this post, you’ll see the steps to add ringtones, notification sounds, and alarm sounds to Android.
In this instance, I’m using Android 10. Let’s get started.
How to Add Ringtones, Notification Sounds, and Alarm Sounds to Android
Open the “Files” app.
Find the sound file you prefer and then cut or copy it.
Note: In case if you can’t see the folder mentioned below, create one with the same name in “Internal Storage” and then follow the steps.
If the file is a ringtone, paste it in the “Ringtones” folder in the “Internal Storage.”
If the file is a notification sound, paste it in the “Notifications” folder in the “Internal Storage.”
If the file is an alarm sound, paste it in the “Alarms” folder in the “Internal Storage.”
You can now see it in your Android device’s ringtone, notification sound, or alarm sound list, depending on the one you’ve added.
If you can’t see it there, then reboot your device, and you’ll be able to view it.
