How to Add Home Button in Chrome Web Browser

The Edge and Firefox web browsers, by default, have "Home" button in the toolbar.

However, Chrome web browser does not. But, you can add it at any time you want.

In this post, we will see the steps to add a Home button to the Chrome. Let's get started.

    Open Chrome.

    Click on Overflow Menu > Settings.

    Under "Appearance" section, find and click "Show home button."

After you turned it on, you can see two options - "New Tab page" and "Enter custom web address." These two options are regarding setting up the homepage.

Keep in mind that clicking "Home" button will take you to the homepage and Chrome has set the "New Tab page" as your homepage by default. If you want to change the homepage as per your wish, use "Enter custom web address" option.

That is all. Now, you can see the Home button in Chrome toolbar.

If you do not want the Home button, follow the below steps:

    Go to "Settings" of Chrome browser.

    Find and click "Show home button."

Also, it is important to note that the Chrome for Android currently doesn't have an inbuilt option to do this task.
